eKanban
With ekko eKanban, reordering processes are automated. This drastically reduces costs for a safe supply of materials.
Saving time when reordering
Higher material availability
Lower capital commitment
In contrast to other eKanban solutions, ekko is characterized by a high level of interoperability and seamless integration into existing IT systems.
Reduces installation and maintenance costs and increases flexibility
Intuitive dashboards that centrally monitor and visualize all material flows.
Sensors, rockers, etc. register material movements in real time
Increases sustainability in your company
With ekko eKanban, material supply is optimized through automated reorders and real-time monitoring. Intelligent sensors and smart labels ensure a seamless and reliable supply of materials, while the dashboard makes the entire process transparent and easy to control.

Step 1
State/Status Change
During picking, defined triggers, such as the button on the smart label or shelf rockers, record material changes. In this example, the material status changes to “empty.”
Step 2
Reorder/ eKanban Dashboards
The status change is transmitted to the ekko platform and visualized on the ekko eKanban dashboards. This triggers an automatic reorder, whereupon the smart label for the material to be refilled in the central warehouse lights up.

Eliminates manual tasks
Thanks to smart labels, the current status can be dynamically displayed, among other features. Our smart labels are available in various sizes and formats.
Full Control and Transparency
The ekko eKanban dashboards provide clear, visual overviews of the current material status. They show inventory changes, pending reorders and critical bottlenecks in real time so that material flows can be efficiently controlled and optimized.
The ekko eKanban dashboards can be flexibly used on tablets directly on the shop floor — permanently mounted on shelves, for example. In this way, workers always have an overview of material stocks, reorders and bottlenecks in real time without having to leave their workplace.

Every 1.25 seconds, a cyclical query runs as to whether an LED should light up or not. Accordingly, it takes a maximum of 1.25 seconds until an LED lights up or goes out.
Every 20 seconds → In case of rarer changes, the displays switch to a kind of standby state, so that the gateway's response time is faster for more frequent changes.

The data is currently being exchanged via a rest interface. In addition, we are currently testing a new tool that makes integrations around 50% easier and faster to implement.
We have various adapter solutions in our portfolio. These allow simple and cost-effective installation on various shelf shapes. The e-labels can then be “clicked in” anywhere.
Most customers achieve ROI in less than 24 months, and in some cases even less than 12 months.
Battery life depends on usage: With 1,000 picks per day, with LED use only, the battery lasts longer, while with 1,000 picks per day, including updating the label content, the battery life is correspondingly shorter.
